What Posting Dude is (and who it is for)

If you are comparing options or deciding whether monthly distribution fits how you ship, start here.

What is Posting Dude?+

Posting Dude is a done-for-you content marketing and distribution service for indie products. Each month we manually research, write, and publish product-focused content across a fixed set of launch platforms and directories—and on Studio, we also distribute to social. You keep building; we keep a steady publishing rhythm so discovery does not die after launch week.

Who is Posting Dude best for?+

Teams and solo founders who ship regularly but do not have time to write, repurpose, and post across many channels every month. It fits especially well when you want consistent mentions and backlinks without running an in-house content operation. It is a poor fit if you need one-off viral campaigns, pure paid ads management, or hands-off growth with guaranteed revenue numbers.

How is Posting Dude different from a typical marketing agency?+

Agencies often sell strategy decks, retainers, and meetings. Posting Dude sells a narrow outcome: predictable monthly distribution on specific channels with clear scope. There is no pitch theater—just brief context from you, execution from us, and published links you can trace. Pricing is simple monthly plans rather than custom SOWs.

Is this a replacement for my own founder marketing?+

No. You should still talk to customers, post when something big ships, and own your narrative. Posting Dude covers the baseline so your product is not invisible between your own spikes. Think of it as compounding distribution, not a substitute for showing up where only you can.

Plans, billing, and changes

Straight answers on Launch vs Studio, contracts, and what happens when your needs change.

What is the difference between Launch and Studio?+

Launch is built around one product: monthly distribution across our partner launch platforms and directories. Studio extends that to up to three projects and adds social distribution (X and LinkedIn) per project plus priority support. If you run multiple bets or want social in the same monthly rhythm, Studio is the match.

Is there a long-term contract?+

No. Plans are month-to-month at public pricing. You can stay as long as the cadence helps you and cancel when your distribution needs change. That keeps the relationship aligned with value instead of locking you into a year you might not need.

How does billing work?+

Subscriptions are billed monthly (or annually if you choose an annual option where offered) through our checkout provider. Renewal is automatic until you cancel from your billing flow or ask us to help you cancel. You always receive confirmation of subscription status by email for the address on your account.

Can I switch between Launch and Studio later?+

Yes. Many teams start on Launch for a single flagship product and move to Studio when they add more projects or want the social layer. Plan changes take effect on the billing cadence defined at checkout; if you are unsure which plan fits, email us with your URLs and we will recommend the leanest option.

Do you offer refunds?+

Because work is manual and time-based, refunds may not be available once delivery for a cycle has started. If something is wrong with scope, quality, or access, contact us first—we resolve issues practically. For full legal language, see our Terms of Service.

Distribution, platforms, and channels

What “published every month” means in practice, and what we do not promise.

Where will my product be published?+

We publish to the partner launch platforms and directories listed on our Platforms page—Aura++, IndieHunt, EarlyHunt, Uno Directory, MakerHunt, SideHunt, Peerlist, and Dev Community, plus social on Studio (X and LinkedIn). Exact mix can depend on your plan and what is appropriate for a given cycle, but the stack is transparent so you know where visibility is coming from.

Do you guarantee placement or traffic from every channel every month?+

We guarantee effort and published output according to your plan’s scope—not a fixed number of clicks, signups, or keyword positions. Third-party sites change policies, queues, and editorial rules; we work within those constraints. What we do promise is disciplined monthly publishing so your story compounds instead of disappearing.

What does “manual writing” actually mean?+

A human marketer drafts and edits channel-native copy from your project context. We do not ship generic AI slop as finished posts. AI may assist research or outlining internally, but what goes live is reviewed and tuned for clarity and fit—because your reputation rides on every link.

Can I request specific angles or launches to highlight?+

Yes. Each cycle works best when you share what shipped, who it helps, and what you want readers to do. We translate that into posts that fit each platform’s audience. The more concrete your update, the sharper the distribution.

Process, timelines, and approvals

What we need from you, how fast things move, and how quality is kept consistent.

What do you need from me each month?+

A short product update: what changed, proof points if any, target audience, primary CTA (trial, waitlist, pricing page), and links we should treat as canonical. You do not need a brand book or slide deck—just enough context to write accurately. If onboarding is incomplete, we pause until required fields are filled so we do not publish blind.

How quickly does content go live after I send an update?+

Most cycles move from your context to published distribution within days, not weeks, subject to platform review queues and your responsiveness. If a channel is slow one month, we communicate that and keep other channels moving so you are never left guessing.

Can I review drafts before publication?+

Process depends on plan and timing. By default we optimize for speed and trust you to flag factual errors fast after publish. If you need a formal approval gate for legal or compliance reasons, tell us during onboarding so we can align workflow—knowing it may slow the cadence slightly.

How do I see what was published?+

You get live links and reporting in your dashboard as distribution completes. Keep those links for fundraising decks, changelog posts, and investor updates—they are proof of ongoing discovery work, not vanity metrics.

SEO, discovery, and realistic outcomes

We are honest about what monthly distribution can and cannot do.

Will Posting Dude guarantee better Google rankings?+

No ethical service can guarantee rankings. What monthly distribution does is widen your footprint: more quality mentions, more paths for crawlers and AI systems to encounter your product, and less reliance on a single post. Rankings may improve over time when combined with a solid product, site, and backlinks—but they are never a promise here.

How should I measure success?+

Track published link volume, referral traffic from those properties where analytics allow, branded search, inbound conversations that mention “saw you on X,” and speed of recovery after quiet weeks. If your only KPI is MRR in 30 days from SEO alone, this service will disappoint; if your KPI is consistent discovery surface area, it will not.

Does this help with AI answer engines and recommendation systems?+

Indirectly, yes. Models and directories synthesize from what exists on the open web. A steady stream of accurate, distributed descriptions of your product makes it more likely you are represented when people ask tools like ChatGPT or Perplexity for options in your category—still not guaranteed, but strictly better than silence.

Account, dashboard, and getting help

When something breaks or you need a human, here is how to reach us.

How do I contact support?+

Email hi@postingdude.com from the address on your account with your project URL and a clear subject. We handle billing questions, distribution scope, onboarding fixes, and dashboard access. For fastest resolution, include screenshots and what you already tried.

What if a platform rejects or removes a post?+

Tell us immediately with the URL or rejection reason. We either revise to meet editorial guidelines or shift effort to another eligible channel in the same cycle where your plan allows. We do not control third-party moderation, but we do control follow-through.

Is my data safe?+

We only use project information you provide to deliver the service, host the app on modern infrastructure, and process email through established providers. Read the Privacy Policy for categories of data, subprocessors, and retention in plain language.
